Census 2011 – Training Video For Polestar Group

We were approached by Polestar (Europe’s Largest Printing Company) to create a short promotional and training video to showcase the work Polestar are doing on the forthcoming 2011 Census.

Polestar are printing over 30 million Census documents for 2011 , every document individual printed and labelled with highly sensitive data. Census 2011 is the procedure of systematically acquiring and recording information about the members of the great British population. The results of the census will directly affect people in your community and information we gather will be used to plan a wide range of public services, many provided by local authorities, which should be there for everyone to use.

After well over 1300 miles, a scary drive through the centre of London and a night in Southampton we acquired all the relevant footage we needed. We filmed 4 interviews all using a reflective green/blue screen cloth giving use the options of melding the footage and backgrounds together. A big thank you goes out to Darrin Stevens for his time and expertise on the project and also for his photography.
